Alyssa Louise Geonanga is an emerging accounting professional currently pursuing her Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) at Roosevelt University and gaining hands-on experience as a tax intern at Brown CPA Group. She supports a variety of tax compliance engagements, including individual, partnership, and corporate tax matters. Alyssa applies her academic training to client work, contributing to tax planning, research, and compliance projects. Her professional foundation also includes experience as a Credit Analyst at Wintrust and an Investor Services Apprentice at Charles Schwab, roles that strengthened her analytical skills and broadened her understanding of financial services. Her growing expertise reflects her commitment to accuracy, transparency, and high-quality client service.

 

Alyssa is actively working toward obtaining her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, aligning with her long-term dedication to the accounting profession. She previously served as a graduate assistant in the Heller College of Business, where she collaborated with faculty and students. She is a student member of the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS) and the International Society of Filipinos in Finance and Accounting (ISFFA), affiliations that support her continued professional development and connection to the broader accounting community.
